Festival of the Little Hills
3rd Weekend of August
One of the largest craft festivals in the Midwest with over 300 vendors, food booths, music, and reenactments of frontier life.
Must See: Don’t miss the candlelight parade and Missouri-made artisan goods.
Oktoberfest St. Charles
Late September
Celebrate German culture with bratwurst, beer, polka music, and stein-holding contests. A fun, festive vibe for the whole family.
Must Do: Try a giant pretzel and join the stein-holding competition by the stage.
Legends & Lanterns
October (Weekends before Halloween)
A Halloween-themed street festival featuring historic villains, ghost stories, and spooky attractions for all ages.
Must Do: Walk Main Street at dusk to meet Edgar Allan Poe, the Phantom, and other eerie legends.
Christmas Traditions
Mid-November through Christmas Eve
St. Charles becomes a holiday wonderland filled with carolers, Santas from around the world, and old-fashioned Christmas charm.
Must See: Catch the Santa Parade and enjoy free photos with costumed Christmas characters.
Missouri River Irish Fest
May (Memorial Day Weekend)
One of the Midwest’s largest Irish festivals featuring live Celtic music, Irish dance, food, beer tastings, and crafts.
Must Do: Raise a glass of cider and dance to a live Irish folk band near the river.
